Ketu

The Moon's south node — a shadowy planet linked to detachment, past karma and spirituality.

Ketu is the south lunar node, the point opposite Rahu where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic going the other way. Like Rahu it is a calculated shadow point rather than a physical planet, and the two always sit exactly opposite.

Where Rahu craves and expands, Ketu signifies detachment, dissolution, introspection and the residue of past karma. It is associated with spirituality, sudden loss of attachment, and mastery already carried from before — a sense of 'been there' about whatever it touches.

Ketu can bring confusion in worldly matters but depth in inner ones. Its themes are best read as where the chart points toward letting go and turning inward, rather than as a marker of bad luck.
